First day of swimming for everyone

Today was the first day of swimming lessons for the kids. The lessons are broken down into two-week sessions. I started the kids out in the same level they finished with last summer. A had the same teacher she had last summer. He remembered her from last year (only she was "about a foot taller" this year). N is a bit nervous about the water, but for the most part, all three love to swim. When the lesson was over A didn't want to leave and cried when she had to get out of the pool.
After swimming, I left the kids at home with MIL and went to lunch and shopping with my friend Bernie. Finally made it to the outlet mall. It was dead. We were about the only people there to shop on a Monday. On the way home I was driving along, minding my own business, when I heard a large crack noise. I scanned the windshield, and sure enough, there is was, on the brand new window in front of my face... a rock chip!
Bad luck and all, I made it home and made tacos for dinner. Whoa is me, I forgot to pick up flour tortillas. My kids tend to get the crunchy shells stuck in their throat, so I make theirs soft tacos.
I had to make a quick trip to the grocery store to get some, so I picked up a movie "Evan Almighty" from the DVDplay kiosk. Tonight we tried to watch and it was so scratched up, it kept skipping, so I just stopped it. A drawback to renting from a kiosk: there is no one to report the scratched disk to, so now some 'poor sucker' (like me) is going to get the same disk I got today when I turn it in tomorrow.
