I saw a car driving in front of me today with a personalized license plate frame. My other car is a broom. I thought it was funny. But, personally I wouldn't want to advertise that. I am looking for something clever and witty for my new car. I guess I'll have to keep looking....
You know how annoying it is when you keep getting calls from someone you don't know on your phone or cell phone? You don't answer the call, because you don't recognize the number. But these goons won't give up, they keep calling back every few hours, or everyday around the same time. You start to feel as though you're being stalked. Sometimes the numbers are "out of area", sometimes they're "unavailable", sometimes they're 866, 888,or 800 numbers. But in all cases, annoying. I don't know about you, but I hate talking to telemarketers. (I did sign up for the do not call list, but until Feb 2008, your registration expired every few years and you had to renew). The do not call doesn't cover businesses you have a relationship with (or have to, say the phone or cable company), pollsters or non-profits (read: fundraisers). Well, today I found one solution to the problem of those calls, an interesting site http://whocalled.us/ where you can look up those numbers and possibly find out the caller's intentions, or at least their identity. Oh, in case you're wondering, the identity of my current stalker is Time Warner Cable.
Today was playground day. The kids and I took the grandparents to the local casino for an afternoon of slots while we met a friend at the playground nearby. E went home with her friend, Hannah, for a few hours until it was time to pick the gparents up. They lost $50. In three hours... At least they didn't try to sugar-coat it.

What new van did you get?
I would not want to advertise that I was a witch either. My MOPS sticker about does it for me!
