I'm a new woman...

Out with the old and in with the new, isn't that how the saying goes? Today we spent 4 hrs at Riverside Metro Honda....buying a new car. And a fancy one at that. We started with a quote through the internet department, which beat the USAA buying service's price. Then we got preapproved financing and printed out Kelly blue book values for our trade-in. Honda Financial Services ended up beating our finance rate too.

2002 Toyota Sienna XLE

Special thanks to the Stacey and Kat for watching my kids, it made the day much more pleasant-only having to deal with the little one! I have never driven a car with so many fancy gadgets in my life! And it seats 8. There is more space inside than my Sienna. It should be fun to drive and especially fun for the kids with the DVD player. This car will definately make long trips more enjoyable. I'm a new woman.

Speaking of new women, I heard Angelina Jolie delivered her twin girls on Friday. And now there are six? Or not? Conflicting stories in the news lead me to wonder. Rumor or truth? Here are a few pictures of her just 10 days prior to her supposed delivery, at the Cannes Film Festival. I never saw a pregnant woman, carrying twins even, who looked sooo good. (Nor anyone who looked so good in a muumuu before). And all this only two years after her delivering her first baby, Shiloh Nouvel. I don't know, I've seen my share of pregnant women, and in my opinion, she doesn't look puffy enough to be that close to delivery.
