Yummy...Blueberries

Today I went grocery shopping (spent $186, I might add; and this mostly spent at the cheap warehouse store where you have to do the work). Wow, groceries are getting so expensive, and right along with gasoline (spent another $75 on that today).

When I was at the grocery store, I saw a display of fresh blueberries. I figured, a little bit expensive, but healthy and full of anti-oxidants (and a natural anti-inflammatory too), I'll get them for the kids for dessert tonight. With a little whipped cream on top, those things'll be taaasty! Not to mention, I love them too. So I picked up the container and looked at it, noticed the name of the farm, and thought (to myself)... gee that name looks familiar. I wonder where it's located? A closer look reveals the blueberries have come from Fairview, OR, just next to the town of Troutdale, where I (mostly) grew up in. I was so excited........ I bought two.

The book
Also, yesterday I finally finished my book, The Other Boleyn Girl (finally... all 672 pages!). I was so excited about that, I went out and rented the movie. V was working late and it struck me as a "chick flick", anyway, something he wouldn't be interested in. I knew I couldn't watch the movie without reading the book first. Well, what a disappointment! You know how they say the book is always better than the movie? Well, they're right! I should have watched the movie first. The movie was missing so much, it was like watching an outline of the book.
