Saturday

Uneventful day. We made out weekend rounds; bank, post office, library, Costco. We ate dinner at my friend Kat's favorite family place: On the Border. While we were there, A decided (for the second time) she needed to use the potty. Well, everytime I take her to a public potty, she sits there a minute and decides, "I can't do it." Then five or ten minutes later, she wants to try again. And again, "I can't do it." It's been a week now, probably ten public toilets, and she's never been successful. Well, finally today, on the second trip to the bathroom, she goes! So we walk out into the dining area together, she starts running towards her dad and shouting, "I peed, Daddy! I peed!" ....out of the corner of my eye, I swear I saw people start checking us out from top to bottom. From our seats to the floor under our table.

This morning she took the hugest dump I have ever seen come out of a two-year-old. Today's your lucky day, I decided I'd spare you the poop picture.

In the car on the way home, N spots a white stretch limo.
He asks me, "Mom, which has more seats, a limo or a limousine?"
I say, "They're the same thing, they can range anywhere from two seats to twenty or so, depending on what kind of car it is."
N says, "Well, which one has more seats?"
I say, "Limo means the same thing as limousine. Limo is short for limousine, it's like TV and television, or phone and telephone....."
He breaks in, "Oh, which has a TV, a limo or a limousine?"
OK.....I give up.
