E: "Mom, I met some new friends today. Two are girls and one is a boy. So now I have four friends at school."
Me: "That's nice, what are their names?"
E: "I don't know."
Me: "You don't know your friends' names? Didn't you read their name tags?"
E: "No, I can't read, remember?"
