I sit here alone and I wonder why?
This new version as sung by E. (Of course I'll always prefer the new wave classic by Kim Wilde). I'm sure the other '80s folks will agree! Grandpa holds a special place in her heart. Wednesday he enjoyed a serenade while taking his morning shower. After enjoying several minutes of singing, he got out of the shower, glanced down, to see hair coming under his door. That's when he realized just where the music was coming from.
The big kids had a vacation day from school today. A had preschool and she had to be there because they were dressing up like "community helpers" and decorating cookies. After we picked up A from her preschool, I had special requests all around. I don't think A quite understood what was going on... As I pulled in to the "restaurant" parking lot, coming from the back seat, I heard,"Are we going to Miss Donalds? ...cause I love Miss Donalds!"
A's dance class had a special Madhatter tea party on Thursday. She's the one in her brother's knight helmet!
With all that candy looming on the horizon, I thought a reminder might benefit everyone...Beware! This is what happens to your teeth if you eat too much candy!
