Bicycle trip with Daddy

Saturday after the morning soccer games we drove all over town and wine country touring neighborhoods and looking at houses with Dad. Then after we worked up a hearty appetite, we went to eat Greek food. I had a Falafel plate with falafel, pita, tzatziki, hummus, lemon rice, and Greek salad. They didn't have a kids' menu, so the children shared an Olympian plate with dolmades, gyros, pita, falafel, and lemon rice, Greek salad. V had chicken kabobs and my dad had a salad and falafels with pita.

Sunday A and I went shoe-shopping (her shoes looked a little tight at church and she kept tripping!). While we were out gallivanting through the mall, the big kids got to go on a bike ride with Daddy. They loved it! They rode about 5 miles each way with a break in between for some Carl's JR french fries. I'm sorry to have missed it. It sounds like they had so much fun. I'm told E had so much fun, she slept the whole way home. V had to pull off and check for signs of life to make sure there hadn't been some kind of accident. Approaching the trailer, he heard sounds (it was snoring).

We purchased a microphone at Target which works on a radio frequency. The kids absolutely love it. They take turns singing and performing. It can be irritating at times, but I'm sure they'll tire of it soon.
